The Fund

FSI manages the fund FSI I, one of the largest European country-focused private equity funds with a growth strategy.

FSI I total capital commitments amount to approx. 1.4 billion euro.

The Fund investors’ base embraces several asset classes and is geographically diversified. Current investors include Cassa depositi e prestiti, the European Investment Fund, European banks, insurance companies and asset managers, bank foundations, pension funds, family offices of large industrial groups and sovereign wealth funds (SWFs) from Middle East, Far East and Central Asia. Some of the SWFs committing to the fund had worked with the FSI team in the past experience of Fondo Strategico Italiano.

The Fund offers to investors the possibility to combine strong investment returns and a unique access to Italian mid-market companies presenting significant growth opportunities in industrial and service sectors, such as mechanics, food & food distribution, fashion, luxury & design, pharmaceutical and business services in general.

The Fund investment perimeter is quite large and sector diversified, including more than 3000 potential target companies.
